Smoke Fired Ware
These pots were fired outdoors in either a barrel or a hole in the ground. The pottery is then laid on a bed of straw surrounded by organic materials, some oxides and wood. Each piece reveals its own unique, individual markings on the surface.
Not suitable for food.
